Wearing the Name Well

Reflect:
Antioch holds a special place in church history. It was there that followers of Jesus were so clearly identified with Him that people called them "Christians," those who belong to Christ. Sadly, today the name can feel worn out or misunderstood, and some believers would rather use a different label. But the answer isn't simply a new name; it's a renewed life that makes the old name shine again. Notice also that the journey in these verses was about strengthening disciples who already believed. Growing believers need encouragement, and encouragers help them keep going. Wearing the name of Christ well includes both living faithfully ourselves and strengthening others who bear the same name.
