Eighteen Months of Faithful

Eighteen Months of Faithful

Thursday

"And he stayed a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them."
— Acts 18:11 (ESV)

"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."
— 1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV)

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
— Galatians 6:9 (ESV)

Reflect:
One verse covers a year and a half. Most of the Christian life is like that — long stretches Scripture summarizes in a single line, lived out one unremarkable Tuesday at a time. The fruit of Corinth was not born in a moment of drama but in eighteen months of showing up with an open Bible.
Respond:
Identify one faithful practice you have let slip — daily reading, prayer with your spouse, a class you teach, a neighbor you serve. Restart it today, not next Monday.
Pray:
Father, deliver me from needing to see the results before I will do the work. Make me steadfast and immovable. Amen.
