Intro to Galatians

The word SAVED can be defined as kept safe or rescued from harm or danger. Saved is most definitely a church word that reaches far and wide and provides believers in Jesus a tremendous amount of comfort in the world that is and hope in the world that is to come. We have been saved, are being saved, and shall be saved by the amazing grace of God through the finished work of Christ upon the cross and the glorious hope of His resurrection. Salvation is provided by grace so that we may experience and celebrate the freedom that comes from knowing where you are going and growing in that grace and knowledge as you make your way into the very presence of God. There are and will be challenging factors that present themselves to you that will make attempts to disrupt God’s grace in your life and frustrate the truth of Scripture which you have learned to be true. Spiritual experiences we have sometimes counteract the spiritual knowledge we have received. And, this is exactly what the Christians in the ten churches of Galatia are going through.
