Bloom Where You Are Planted

When we declare God as sovereign we confess that our times and seasons are in His hand. That is, none of us chose the place of our birth. We didn't select who our parents would be. Genesis 2:7-8 says: "then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed" (ESV) Notice how the Lord "put the man" in the garden. God has graciously and wonderfully planted us in certain places. And, He put us here for His glory and our good. It only makes sense then that we would do all we can to participate with our Heavenly Father and BLOOM WHERE WE HAVE BEEN PLANTED.
